Step by stepShot Meter Guide for a Perfect Release
When you have an open spot in a solo, 1v1, or 5v5 game, use the shot meter as your timing check. On PC, mobile, or console, release when the meter reaches green for the described PERFECT release, then use the result to decide whether to keep the same shooting position or create space with a dribble first.
- Pick the match setting
Choose solo, 1v1, or full 5v5, then select an open spot at the beach, gym, or park before attempting the shot.
- Read the meter
Start the shot and watch for green on the meter. Release at that point for the described PERFECT release rather than treating the location alone as the deciding factor.
- Create space when needed
If a defender prevents a clean attempt, use the described dribble play to break ankles before trying the meter again. If the lane opens, continue the shot attempt; otherwise keep working for space.
- Rebind on your platform
If the native layout is inconvenient, use Settings to rebind keys on PC. The description separately lists mobile and console support, so do not assume a PC key mapping carries over to those platforms.
