Step by step

From village clues to the altar endings

Treat the investigation as a sequence: explore the village and Rumah Wirjodihardjo, solve the clues you find, and collect the objects required for the altar. The altar is the point where your choices determine the ending, so do not treat item gathering and the final decision as unrelated tasks.

  1. Explore first

    Move through the village and old house while looking for the clues that explain what to do next. Keep the group focused on investigation rather than rushing to the altar before the needed objects are collected.

  2. Gather altar objects

    When a clue points toward an object, collect it as part of the altar objective. The useful checkpoint is whether your group has assembled what the ritual requires before committing to the final choice.

  3. Manage the threat

    Marni, pocong, and Si Kecil remain part of the investigation’s danger. Keep quiet because the description warns that the threat can hear you, and use headphones if that helps you notice the experience’s audio cues.

  4. Choose the ending

    Once the altar decision is reached, choose deliberately: the description states that the altar choice determines the outcome, with three possible endings. After choosing, use the result to decide whether the next run should pursue a different conclusion.
