Step by stepTake your throwing timing from practice into live drives
Your quarterback progression combines throwing accuracy with team building. Practice gives you rings to target for cash, while live drives add route reading and choosing an open receiver.
- Learn the power bar
Click, tap or press R2 to start the power bar, then stop it on the marker for a PERFECT throw. Use the marker as your timing reference rather than simply trying to stop the bar as late as possible.
- Aim practice throws at rings
Hit rings in practice to earn cash. If you want to focus on throwing before handling a live drive, keep practicing ring hits and stopping the bar on its marker.
- Add receiver selection
In live drives, read the routes, hike the ball and hit the open receiver. Timing remains part of the throw, but now you also need to choose an open target instead of aiming at a practice ring.
- Build a perfect-throw chain
Chain PERFECT throws to get the Hot Hand. Once you can land a perfect throw, make repeating that timing your next goal rather than treating each successful throw as the end of practice.
