Step by step

Bring all four pieces home

  1. Choose the objective

Choose a bot match if you want to jump straight into play, or create a private room and share its code to play with friends. In either case, your objective is to bring all four pieces home before anyone else.

  2. Carry out the activity

Roll the dice; you need a six to leave your base. Move your pieces around the board toward home. Landing on an opponent sends that opponent back to start.

  3. Handle the next decision

When your move offers a choice, weigh sending an opponent back against advancing another piece toward home. A capture interrupts their progress, but winning still requires bringing every one of your own four pieces home.

  4. Decide what comes next

Once the match ends, choose another quick bot match or turn the next game into a social session: create a private room and share the code with friends, including friends on other servers.

Step by step

Collect a look for your next table

  1. Choose the objective

Decide which part of your table's appearance interests you: a new board, different dice, or piece skins. These are the three customization categories available through chests.

  2. Carry out the activity

Open chests to unlock boards, dice and piece skins. Look at what you unlock before deciding how you want to customize your next game; opening a chest is the described unlock action, not a choice of a guaranteed item.

  3. Handle the next decision

If a new unlock suits your preferred look, make it part of your table's presentation. If your existing look still appeals more, keep that preference rather than changing simply because something is new.

  4. Decide what comes next

Show your chosen look in a match, where everyone sees what you are playing with. To share it with particular friends, invite them directly from the menu or share a private-room code.

Priority plan

Prioritize boards, dice or piece skins

Choose the next priority
Prioritize boards if you want a different table backdrop, dice if you want to change the look of what you roll, or piece skins if you care most about your playing pieces. Treat these as distinct appearance choices.
Work toward that objective
Use chest opening to expand your customization choices, then compare the unlocked items with your preferred category. Your priority guides which results interest you; it does not select what a chest contains.
When to switch priorities
If you already like your board but want your pieces to look different, shift your attention to piece skins. If your current setup already suits you, spend the next session playing with friends instead of focusing on customization.
Plan the next session
Use how your setup looks at the table to decide what to change next. A board you like may leave dice as your next interest; a complete look you enjoy gives you a reason to move on to another quick match.
