Step by stepChoose a line when the match freezes
Your direct match input is drawing a line at the big moments. Use the frozen scene to choose between creating a passing opportunity, attempting a shot or taking on a defender with a dribble. These are normal gameplay actions, separate from the universal utility build.
- Pass through a gap
When a teammate has a useful route ahead, consider drawing a pass through the available gap. Through balls are part of the game's passing play; compare that route with the shooting opportunity before committing.
- Shoot toward a corner
When you want to attempt a finish, draw the shot line. The game describes curling shots into the top corner and free kicks over a wall, so judge the goal route and any wall in the frozen scene.
- Dribble past a defender
If taking on the defender looks more useful than passing or shooting, draw a dribble line. At the next frozen moment, inspect the new scene before choosing your next action rather than repeating the same move automatically.
