Step by stepSet up a team run and protect your REP
For leaderboard attempts, play together: solo driving provides a dashboard map, but solo times are not ranked. Use solo driving when you want to handle navigation yourself; choose a team run when you want a driver and a dedicated turn caller.
- Meet before the stage
Meet your friend in the pits, form a party and enter your private stage. Agree on who will drive and who will read the map before tackling the narrow roads.
- Keep navigation with the copilot
Have the copilot use the handheld map to call turns while the driver handles blind corners and jumps. The map can be held or dropped into the cabin; holding it keeps it with the player responsible for navigation.
- Favor a clean finish
When fog, rain, snow or a dirty windshield makes the road harder to read, favor a cautious approach over chasing a personal best. Clean stage finishes earn REP, while hard crashes can cause blackouts and cost REP.
