Step by stepHandle the descent before chasing a faster run
Treat your first runs as practice for staying on course rather than simply building maximum speed. The descent combines sharp turns, obstacles and hard landings; learning where you lose control gives your next run a concrete focus.
- Approach a difficult turn
If a corner is difficult to hold, use braking rather than continuing to build speed. On PC, steer with A / D and brake with S; on mobile, use Left / Right and Brake Button; on controller, use Left Stick and Left Trigger.
- Make the sharper turn
Combine Brake + Steer for a sharp turn on any supported platform. Use this when ordinary steering is not enough for the bend, then watch whether the cart stays on course before concentrating on speed again.
- Practice the hop separately
Hop with Space on PC, Jump Button on mobile, or A / Cross on controller. Practice it while paying attention to the landing: avoiding hard landings is part of surviving the descent, not just getting the cart into the air.
- Choose the next run's focus
If you crash at a turn, make cornering your next practice goal. If you reach the bottom, try a faster run or race friends while keeping the turns and landings you have learned in mind.
